Steve Jobs's 3 stories

"你們的時間有限,所以不要浪費時間活在別人的生活裡。

不要被教條所侷限-- 盲從教條就是活在別人思考結果裡。

不要讓別人的意見淹沒了你內在的心聲。

最重要的,擁有追隨自己內心與直覺的勇氣,

你的內心與直覺多少已經知道你真正想要成為什麼樣的人."

Ego

High Ego do has its good, well, better look at this perspective...if a person has high ego, he don't want to lose out in a bunch. he tends to show his best, always the strongest person in the eye of people. will always aware of how he been perceived by their friend. So he always tried to stand on the peak. he tends to has this attitude "prove em' they're wrong". they believe themselve, when u strongly believed yourself, sometimes, u have those crazy ideas that people think u are psycho, too naive, daydreaming. they think u can't make it, so show them, they are wrong. prove to them, they're the person who are too naive to think that you cant make it. one of my favorite mentor, Ernie Chan once said, the fine line between success and failure, he said when u succeed, people say you intelligent, when u failed, people say u idiot. Then he took Airasia's CEO Tony Fernandes for example, when fernandes first buying Airasia, at that time was not called Airasia, anyway, Fernandes mortgaged his home and used his saving to acquire the company, at that time, friends, family members think that he is crazy, he will not going make it, he cant go far. but what's happen now? people started saying he is intelligent, blah bla bla...you see? when people say u cant make it, and laughing at u thinking that u are too naive to think big... instead of listening to him, why dun prove them they are wrong? and u can make it happen. that's why u need to listen to yourself first, believe yourself.

anyway, I'm not trying to say u need to be so ego then to become a successful person. what i want to say is that people who has high ego, they tend to has the power, they tend to has the winning spirit. they tried hard not to lose, so they put it more efforts. they have this energy to drive them.

As I always say ''Human are a complicated creature". There are always a lot conflict, disagreement, misunderstanding and so on. At times, you tried hard to tell them please don't do that way, hope they can understand at least a bit, it is for a better of us. But do they really hear u? that's also why people always say" If something u can't change, then u have to change yourself to adapt it."

what if you don't like one of your friend's attitude, would u tell him? like " Hey, u know what, I dun like you keep insulting me by saying "sohai", "noob yau". For me, if u saying this to your friend, I'll just think that u are not respecting them as a friend. what worse is that you kept saying it. u might not meant it. but u're saying wrong thing in a right situation..

what I would like to say is" please treat your friends like how they treat u." seriously, be aware of your words. I don't like to say the words "Sohai" and "noob yau" or "noob dau se" or any other word which could convey a negative messages, ask yourself did i say sohai to u? i mean in the serious way. did i say "noob yau, like this also dunno." and this is indeed insulting and it is not sound like kidding...and that's why I hope u treat me like how i treat u.

For what? to talking with someone who keep insulting u? at the end of the day, u got hurt more than joys.

and when i say human are complicated creature is not just what i mentioned above...communication is the only way to solve this...but the problem is that do they take your words seriously and store in their head?

RESPECT EACH OTHER IS WHAT I WANNA SAY, NO MATTER WHO U ARE, TREAT YOUR MOM AND DAD, FRIENDS, STRANGERS AND COLLEAGUES WITH RESPECT.

and i always think this, even u are elder or older, u do need to respect young people.

Be Yourself mean-

Be yourself mean-

1.)Accept who u are, no matter good or bad. ( Be patient about your weaknesses, empower your strengths.)

2.) To do what u like to do, not others telling you that's what u suppose to do. ( Follow your convictions.)

3.)Don't give a damn of what they said about you. (especially saying something that against your thoughts, opinions, and attitudes...while there's nothing right or wrong about that. If things that are very subjective to every individual.)

4.)Don't be afraid of expressing your thoughts and opinions. (Believe what you believed.)

5.)...will be continue

在梅邊 by Leehom

Here are the rap part only... like it! meaningful.

If u are reading this ( anyone of u, readers)

I was thinking how many people would know actually what they want in their life? especially the young generation. because they are the only group who have plenty of time ahead for future...does anyone know what they want in the future? and how and when they developed? why they are so clear that they know this is what they want in their future?

there are many people, including myself...we are numb
we sometimes know that we want change the life that we are heading now, we dislike who we are and what we are now, we want better future.

BUT, most of the time.....the day repeat itself everyday, and we do the same things everyday. wake up early, rush to work or school, then work or study, then back home, then sleep, then the next day, same things happen....continue for years sometimes....at time, you stop and think is it the life that i want? u started doubt at the same time, you dunno what u want...what the purpose of living?

seriously, there is no a standard way, saying that life should live like that...or u should be a billionaire then only your life are not wasted, or you should get a higher education or you should not play computer games...and more( those other things that social norm)...cause life is too short! if you are chasing more money, and devote your health and time, then so what? for what? after u became rich, u probably became old....and left little time to enjoy life....that does not make sense right?

most of the time, we are chasing what the "social norm" or many people think THAT is a things u need in ur life then u are not wasted ur life...example like MATERIAL THINGS, WORKS... i mean there are many people work so hard, for what? if u work to pass ur time...and get paid...and din not know how to use your money, u are stupid! u save more than u suppose to...for what? u cant bring it along to hell...

LIFE IS JUST LIKE THAT!!!

Every time I ask for school fees, I feel guilty to ask for it...cause it is really not cheap...a fucking one semester costed like RM6k++, depend on how many subject u took. one sub@Rm1600.....

every time I show the school fees invoice to my dad, I felt guilty, I felt like I am the liabilities for my parent, how i wish i could get a scholarship and settle myself!

I really cant ask for more, they had already given me the best for me. i know it's freaking not easy to raise a child until he got his degree...

And I'm so appreciated who I am, and the parent i have, the life they give...every things
no more complains, the only thing i can do is to get the best results, and take care them! give them the best when i have the money!

thanks you daddy and mummy..

I only got the feel to write blog during midnight when there was a lot of things in my mind! fcuk Help uni college, money-sucker. frankly speaking, i dun really enjoy the Help uni life here! i can list down all the bad sides of it.
1.) expensive school fees
2.) too far from my house
3.) need to get 2hrs earlier for early classes
4.)foods expensive
5.)no where to go, except library and lousy food court.
6.)have to pay parking fee@ per entry RM3, still cant find parking during open school periods.
7.)higher expenses for me, petrol, parking fees, makan. no extra money left..d.n.siang!
8.) early morning stuck in the traffic!

these are enough!

unlike Tarcollege,
1.) affordable school fees.
2.)foods are cheap
3.) near my house @15mins
4.)go jj, wangsa walk, wangsa maju makan! still cheap.
5.)had a bunch of friends to hang out.
6.)can go friend house seat seat.
7.)more facilities, can go for gym, badminton, swimming, all cheap!
8.)parking cheap@RM20 for the fucking whole year
9.) no worries for no parking
10.) resit fees cheaper than Help!

Okay that all i can say, no regret, just money problems....after all, we pay for brand, everyone pay for brand, reputation...if Tarc offers bachelor degree, im freaking sure i go for it!

lesson learned-branded can charge higher price! positioning yourself in the market, VALUE! i like the word VALUE...add-value.

hohoho! I cant sleep now, and was thinking to blog something! been so long no touch my blog.=.= and i miss it so much now. I dunno why. I want to write so many thing which stored in my heart...i dunno what the mood now... feel like need a soul mate to talk...miss those day talking with cousin, i like to talk to him because it is so direct, u dun need to hide anything, just talk it out...

and i feel like writing status in facebook is so insecure, what u write would not just be seen by ur friends but stalkers as well, i do believe many people are stalkers, just depend who they stalk..hahaha..sometimes because of what u write and causes unnecessary problems like friendship spoiled, and ruined your own image...i feel like i had matured in term of writing status in fb...i would think twice before i write...sometimes i just feel like should i really care? i feel like i should write what i like, i should not give too much shits to people dun like....i cant, i care some people what they say. because i believe people dun like u it has a reason. and u can be possible be liked by everyone, they would still people anti, dislike...

and one more thing about fb is that when someone, considered as a "friend" not that closed friend, and he or she added u, no choice but to accept it...and u automatically will behave urself in fb....just like ur parent or ur boss, ur colleagues added u in fb, like keeping an eye on u, u get what im saying?? what u write, what u liked in fb will be read by them! sucks!

I know one thing, I think more than any people..sucks, i hate it...FML!!!

how i hope that im that kind of person like

我行我素, i dun give shit to anyone who got me down, who push me down...fuck u for real!!!...

How to NOT waste time on the internet

We’re all guilty of it. We waste our own time surfing the web looking at funny pictures and videos, or really nothing that interests us. It doesn’t hurt to do this once and awhile, but don’t let it become a habit. Here are some ways to prevent your internet use from becoming too wasteful.

Have a clear goal

For each site you visit, have a reason why you want to be there. Have a clear goal of what you would like to accomplish. Three well-known time wasters, Digg, YouTube, and Facebook, can easily turn productive when you have a goal planned. For Digg, may be you want to read one useful article or find one new website. Perhaps on Youtube you want to find a video on a topic that interests you, or maybe you want to make a new contact on Facebook. If you don’t have a clear goal before visiting a site, then avoid it. That is a positive sign of a time waster.

Don’t stray away

If you don’t want to spend too much time doing nothing and getting nowhere on the web, then you must prevent yourself from straying off and losing focus. If you’re watching a video don’t click on any of the related videos. If you watch one video, click on a related video, then that video will have 25 more related videos, if you click on another one, 25 more, and so on. These links will never end and consume even more of your valuable time. Focus on that one video or article now and come back to the related videos or links some other time.

Skip the IMs

Don’t sign into an instant message service if you really don’t have anything to say. Many people sign in just to see what’s going on. Similar to websites, if you want to save time, have a clear goal of what you want to accomplish. Don’t just strike up a pointless conversation because you could be wasting someone else’s time as well.

Time yourself

This might be the oldest trick in the book. Get yourself an egg timer and set it so that every time you go to a site you can give yourself about 5 to 10 minutes. You’ll stay on track and be kept motivated by hearing the ticking of the timer.

Take a day off

Just step away from the internet for a day. A full twenty-four hours. It’s simple but difficult for most. When your twenty-four hours is up and you’re back online, you’ll be much more ambitious to get a lot done.

Avoid arguments

The internet has brought people together and has given individuals the opportunity to express their true views. Many times people can be very tough or downright nasty on forums and social media sites. Take other people’s opinions into account and move on. Don’t waste your time with an argument. A disagreement online usually takes longer because of the time in between a rebuttal post. This is very true for forums.

Don’t stress the small things

On the internet we try to be as perfect as possible because we feel “everyone” is watching. People spend hours trying to get their social profiles just right and evenly rank their friends. Don’t worry about it. You’re never going to be perfect, no one will.

Recognize waste

There’s going to be days when you feel like wasting time surfing the web and then you’ll have other days when you don’t feel like it’s a waste at all. There’s plenty of ways you can turn your wasteful surfing into something productive. Recognize your waste and be turn it around.

5% Tax, 10% Service Charge, 100% Stupidity

KFC and McDonald

As informed by my friend (a hotelier), the 10% service charge is only imposed if you dine-in at the outlet. If you do take-away, you won't be charge the 10%. His reasoning is that, when you dine-in the staffs will have to serve you the food, entertain whenever you call to ask for chilli sauce/tomato sauce/pepper/tissue/whatnot. Whereas when you do take-away, they just prepare your food and off you go.

Got once at secret recipe, the service so poor that my friend complain to the manager. Some more got the service charge, my friend taruh the manager, ask him better educate your staff. No service at all, if I educate your staff you better pay me some service charge as well. Luckly he apologize.
I just wondering how they categorize to charge 5% or 10% or even 15%. It is up to their management or there is any guideline. If not it is not fair to consumer.

i get super irritated with the service charge more than the government tax.
For example, OLD TOWN. We have to write everything we want down. Those workers only come and collect the bill. When we want to pay, some will even ask us to walk over to the counter to pay ourselves. Get my point? Why do they impose a 10% service charge when they did not even serve us?

Wednesday, February 16, 2011

I used to become a very well-mannered person, i can't really remember when it was. maybe 16 or 17. At that time, i was friends with a twin indian boys, but they look no alike. They are 3 years younger than me, who i known since i was primary school, we are not same school though, they stayed near my house. I always be the big brother, cuz everytime, their toys got spoilt, i will help to fix and i'm good in drawing, and they admire me because of this.

We used to play badminton together, guli, football, westling, carrom and many more.( we play westling like we imitate our superhero, each of us has our superhero in WWF, mine was The Rock, the elder twin indian boy was the Stone cold steven austin, undertaker and kane, the younger one's same with me. So playing like what u wactched on the tv3, we sung very loud of the song or music when we came out.i still can remembered The Rock's song, is something like this "If you can smell, what the rock is cooking!) and the elder was always wanted wins, he was that kind of person who wanted to win in all fields, in studies, in games, in eveythings! that's why he got a good results, he felt sad when he got a bad results. But he getting very understanding when he grew up, he is good in managing his time which i think is very good at the very young like him knowing time is very important, So we started to communicate in english, at that time, my english is suck. But they were too kind and patient talked with me using broken-english and sometime mixed malays. And seriously, the elder one had taught me a lots. He changed my life i should say.

Because at that time, i don't really interested in study, i was playing around, didn't know what i want in life. My first story book was borrowed from them, they used to bought a lots of books, although they are very poor, so most of their books were borrowed from school, no matter how poor they are, the father knows education is very important for the children, he gaves both of them tuition, buy books, toys and their favourite foods, so at the very young age, they are orderly to study after 1 hour of playing till 7pm. Both of them will took out their books, and the father would teach what he know, as the father was a hotel usherer, sometime, got some tips. I was so admired of the elder brother, he was a very hardworking person, polite, and matured. but the younger one was other way round, he likes to play cheat, not very hardworking, a little bit "lil smart". But both of them are very good in studies.

So, at that time, i started to read more in english books material, read starmag every sunday even now, then started to borrow books from school, both english and malays, at that time, my classmates were so like giving me the look like i'm pretending to be a good student, and i brought dictionary and story books to school, but i don't care, because i know it is good for me and eventually i built a habbit of reading.( as u know, public schools are sucks, they dun really teach, most of the time, we just "lepak", go other class chit chat, one gang go toilet, ponteng, go cybercafe, but had funs also, it would very free everyday.)

At that time, i used to become a very good mannered person, i wave with people, i say "Hi" to people, i smile when meet people, i say loud, "i'm back" to my parents when i came back from school. I will called my parent "daddy" and "mummy". All of these are influened by the 2 indian boys, i'm so appreaciate! they called Ramesh the elder one, Rajen the younger one, and one little brother called Suresh, and one little sister, dunno what her name..haha

i definitely will find them one day!!! so good to know them! they are my childhood's memorises.

COMME des GARCONS PLAY x Converse Jack Purcell

I was thinking to buy a brand new sneaker, since i had sold my vans and no sneaker which i think is easy to match, i wanted to buy a shoe that i can wear longer, durable, easy to match, cuz i dun wanna buy some more shoes. So, black shoe is always the best choice for matching. Still i was thinking to find a nice vans, but i like this shoe!!! And i dunwan to buy 2 pairs...what i dun like about this shoe is, i think is not nice matching with short pant( because the line at the front)

Fyi, CdG's stuffs are so expensive...insteads of get a same product just dun have the logo of LOVE's shape...i choose the following converse Jack Purcell. it costs around rm145.90, whereas the above one rm 700++

I like this shoe, mainly because of the uniqueness of the shoe, i'm saying the front have a "line"....at the very very beginning, when i first saw the shoe in the internet, i dun like it, and i think is ugly also because the line at the front, and i dunno why ppl like it, but now i'm loving it. HAHAHA it's funny!...and i dun really fancy about converse shoes, but this is the ONLY ONE i think. And i already can image wearing this shoe with khakis or chino pant is perfect! BUT, matching with short pant, i dun think is nice...
My wonderful girlfriend and I had been dating for over a year, and so we decided to get married. There was only one little thing bothering me...It was her beautiful younger sister. My prospective sister-in-law was twenty-two, wore very tight miniskirts, and generally was bra-less. She would regularly bend down when she was near me, and I always got more than a nice view. It had to be deliberate. Because she never did it when she was near anyone else.

One day her 'little' sister called and asked me to come over to check the wedding invitations. She was alone when I arrived, and she whispered to me that she had feelings and desires for me that she couldn't overcome. She told me that she wanted me just once before I got married and committed my life to her sister. Well, I was in total shock, and couldn't say a word. She said, 'I'm going upstairs to my bedroom, and if you want one last wild fling, just come up and get me.' I was stunned and frozen in shock as I watched her go up the stairs. I stood there for a moment, then turned and made a beeline straight to the front door. I opened the door, and headed straight towards my car.

To my surprise, my entire future family was standing outside, all clapping! With tears in his eyes, my father-in-law hugged me and said, 'We are very happy that you have passed our little test. We couldn't ask for a better man for our daughter. Welcome to the family.' And the moral of this story is:

------> Always keep your condoms in your car.

HAHAHA!

A girl takes her new boyfriend back home after the dance. She tells him to be very, very quiet as her parent are asleep upstairs and if they wake up, she would be in big trouble as she's not allowed to bring boys home. They settle down to business on the sofa, but after a while, he stops and says, "Where's the toilet, I need to go".

She says, "Its next to my parent's bedroom. You can't go there, you might wake them up. Use the sink in the kitchen instead."

He goes into the kitchen then, after a short while, he pops his head round the door and says to his girlfriend, "HAVE YOU GOT ANY PAPER?"

“Spring is past

Summer has gone

And winter is here

And the song that I meant to sing

Remains unsung

For I’ve spent my days

Stringing and unstringing my instrument.”

This is a song of a sad heart who wanted to dance one day. Who wished to live life, when everything is correct, when everything is perfect. So sad, it never got a chance, and died one day.

We all wait for that perfect day and forget to live in the moment.

We always push the life and postpone living. We tend to forget that life is going day by day. The day is not so far when we will be going back to the sky. This is the best time to live, to love, to celebrate the gift of life. This is the best time to make decisions. This is the best time to change. This is the best time to stop for a minute and look for the best out of life.

I am sure we don’t like to wait for someone in a coffee shop or on a bus- stop for so long, so why waiting to live?

Tomorrow never dies. Tomorrow never comes. Life is now. Right here in this moment.

TIME

Time shown me how much i had changed, the photos shown my taste of clothing. Which i feel ugly now. I dunno why i'd go and pierce my ear, i dunno why i'd like to matching graf T-shirt with baggy jeans and sneakers.( i dun like streetwear now) I dunno why i worn the colorful belt. I dun like the hairsytle. Enough is enough. I always think now is better, what i wear now is nicer. Even just a few years( 1 to 2 years), it's so much different, in term of my taste of fashions( still i'll never admit i'm good in fashions, cuz i know there're alot more ppl out there are better), the ways of how i see things now. Which i think is good, cuz i have already improved.

What i hope for the following years is to fully utilise my time to do what is good for myself and also people around me. To reallyfocus on things that i want, spend time wisely.

Quick Trivia – Why US iPhones are $199/299?

Quick trivia for you. Being the typical Malaysian, you must have already done some quick calculations. US$199/299 ONLY?!

Well hang on a minute. US$199 sounds like a sweet deal but it doesn’t factor in the carrier costs. One main reason why the iPhone 3G/3GS is locked in the first place is because it is meant to be bound to a (usually 2 year minimum) network carrier contract. If you add up all the costs of the contract, the iPhone itself as well as the transportation, processing and markup charges, you will end up with the average prices found in the market for an unofficially unlocked iPhone 3G/3GS/4. I’ll leave it to you to do the math.

There're 4 types of facebook users,

1.)They're very active in social network (facebook), but NOT active in real life.
2.)They're NOT active in facebook, but active in real life.
3.)Neither active in facebook, nor real life.
4.)Active BOTH in facebook and real life.

Active= More Express Themselves (write status)

I always has this thinking in my mind, as we are now living in this high tech generation. Our parents and older generation people were getting hard to catch up with the high tech gadgets. Does it will happens to us someday when we getting older? where we may hardly catch up with our children's advanced technology?

I used to asked my mom this question, and she said it will happens to us someday. But for me there are 2 possible, either it will or it will not. LOL

IT WILL, simply because every generation people have difference life of living, from our ancestor to our grandparent to our parent to us now. There are a huge difference life of living. The very good example like, nowadays, our parents are barely know how to use the cellphone, the computer like we did it...they probably know how to call and text...but they may not know how to access to Internet, GPS and so on...okay, I'm saying majority in malaysia, i know some parents are good in high-tech gadget, i was surprised to saw and heard about older people in his or her 50-60's using the latest I-phone4...how i wish my parents are them. I know this is also the matter of "willing to learn". But somehow, i do believe that, no matter what, they're still something they can't catch up with the young people like us. they may not know the usefulness of internet. ( p/s, even young gen like us are sometimes found it hard to cope with the new technology)

IT WILL NOT, because we( y and z- gen) are more willing to learn and change, even in our daily life, everything needed to be fast, we are trained to be in the fast paced environemnt, we are more knowledgeable, and we know more ways to solve problems (we choose the most effective and efficient ways), we use Internet to get the information instead of watching TV news and read newspaper, magazines, twitter and facebook...we check the consumer's feedback before we visit the outlets to purchase...people now are more educated. Besides, as we are young, we learn things faster, and we absorb new things easily compare to elder people. as they are the generation seeing the huge changed of the technology, from no TV to now using plasma Tv, the advanced automobile and so on. this may hard for them to cope with the high-tech machine, their childhood living lifestyle had formed their personality.

Somehow, these are still a no answers for this question.
no one will know what will happen in the future, perhaps the future technology are far beyond that we think...

Taurus.

Taurus isn't necessarily like a Bull in a ring with a toreador. You could be more like peace-loving Ferdinand, seeking the gentle meadows filled with flowers, sunshine and natural beauty. It's only Taurus stubbornness that can make you angry enough to charge at someone who is disturbing your peace.

Taurus are noted for your determination. You get to where you are going, not because you are exceptionally fast or clever, but because Taurus will not be distracted from your goals. Your need for stability and simplicity can motivate Taurus to create a life for yourself that is quite functional, though it might seem boring to someone else. But Taurus aren't interested in taking unnecessary risks that can put your solid footing in jeopardy.

Taurus motto might be "Take care of the senses and everything else will take care of itself." It may be that your attraction to material things is less about the objects themselves than it is about the pleasure they bring to your senses. Comfortable living and working space is important to Taurus, along with nice linens, clothing, food and music. And, as one of the most practical signs, Taurus outlook on life is usually quite sensible. As Taurus plod along in life, getting what you need in order to survive, don't forget to look at the beauty that is beyond the material world of material possessions.

Smiling

A smiling person is like an open door that welcomes people in. Smiling is a non-verbal message that says you are non-threatening, approachable, and welcoming others for a conversation. It loosens people up and keeps the atmosphere relaxed. By contrast, people tend to feel suspicious and stay on guard with those who seldom smile, as if they have unwelcoming sharp fangs that bite people.

Always keep a genuine, relaxed smile on your face to tell others that you are approachable. People will like to come near you.
